Just to let people know that .david and I are going to be celebrating New Year in a local pub....well somewhere in the Stevenage/Ickleford/Baldock area (Ickleford and Baldock are about 5 miles from where we live).

The plan is just drinking in a pub(s) with friends, nothing too expensive or complicated.  I only emailed around this morning and so am waiting for responses of attendees.

Would anybody else like to come?

If you would, it would be great if you could post on here or email David within the next couple of weeks if poss just so we know what's happening.  The more the merrier.

People are welcome to stay at ours.  Or if they prefer I can give them the names of close and cheap(ish) hotels if they want (we won't be offended).
